Funeral Wakes
At A Piece of Cake, we appreciate that arranging the catering following the loss of a loved one can be very sensitive and can also sometimes be distressing.
We have put together a buffet that we feel is more suited for a funeral wake. We can arrange everything with your chosen funeral directors and event venue if you would like us to. We're very happy to discuss your requirements at a time that would be suitable for you.

We can cater for any dietary requirement such as vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free, etc.
Buffet Changes
Should there be an item on our set buffet menu that you would like to change, please feel free to ask and we are happy to quote for this.
Table Condiments
All buffets include table covering, disposable plates, serviettes & disposable cutlery (if required).
Deposit And Payment Policy On Buffets
Deposits
We appreciate that at times and for unforeseen circumstances, buffet orders may need to be cancelled. We will endeavour to mitigate any costs incurred by ourselves and offer a full refund where possible. However, there are times when raw materials may have been purchased and/or wasted. Additionally other potential business may have been turned away due to non-availability on the day of the ordered buffet being cancelled.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed by a senior member of staff, buffet payments must be met in full prior to the date of the planned event.
Payment on account for business customers is required 30 days from the date of invoice.
A 10% deposit will be required of buffets exceeding a total of £200 inc VAT.
Refund Of Deposits For Cancellations On Buffets
One month or longer - Full refund Under one month to two weeks - 50% refund Under two weeks - Non refundable
